Staff clock-in / Security companies
A clock-in app for security companies.
Your guards start and finish at sites you are not at. Leave a QR code at each site and they clock in and out on their own phone, with breaks recorded too.
No card. Nothing to install. All you do is print the code.

Why it suits guarding work
Who is on, right now
The manager screen shows who is clocked in, who is on a break and who has gone, so you are not ringing round to find out.
Times to the second
Start and finish times are stored to the second and never rounded, so the timesheet shows what actually happened.
A code at each site
Print one code for each site and keep it there. Keep copies off your guards' phones, so a clock-in means they were there to scan it.
How it works
Print the code
One QR code for each door or site. That is the only thing you pay for yourself.
Staff scan in
On their own phone: clock in, breaks, clock out. They pick their name and put in a PIN.
You see it all
Who is in, who is on a break, who has gone. Weekly timesheets and a payroll spreadsheet.

Questions
Does it track patrols or checkpoints?
No. It records clocking in, breaks and clocking out at a site. It is not a guard tour or patrol system, and it does not track anyone's location.
Do guards need an app?
No. They point their phone camera at the code and it opens straight away.
What about night shifts?
Clock-ins work at any hour, because all it needs is the code and a phone with a signal.
